ADDED: A new screen reader friendly interface skin named "TextOnly" is available in the "Skins" section of the Weather Watcher Live Options window.

CHANGED: In the daily forecast, nighttime low temperatures were showing the low temperature for the entire day, rather than the low temperature for the night.

CHANGED: When the Weather Watcher Live Options window is opened, the left menu now has focus. This change was made to make the Options window more screen reader friendly.

FIXED: Rebuilt the DL.EXE application to resolve an issue where the DL.EXE process would remain in memory. When this happened, the WW.EXE process would often get stuck and use a continuous amount of CPU until restarted.

FIXED: The thermometer on the main Weather Watcher Live window was not always displayed using the correct color.

FIXED: After midnight EST, some weather stations were displaying daytime icons for nighttime hours in the hourly forecast.

FIXED: If using a Tray Icon skin of PNG images, the current condition icon (if enabled) was displaying the temperature in the system tray instead of the condition icon. I had to revert back to the Weather Watcher Live 0.0.33 build this morning due to an issue with the Weather Watcher Live 0.0.35 build. As a few others reported in the Weather Watcher Live forums, build 0.0.35 would crash when attempting to open the main Weather Watcher Live window when minimized to the system tray. A new Weather Watcher Live beta has been released to take care of the majority of issues that have been discovered this week. The new beta can be downloaded from the Weather Watcher Live download page.

The changes are as follows:

ADDED: Sunset to the "NOW" section of the main Weather Watcher Live window for weather stations outside of the US.

FIXED: Daily forecast was not displaying for some weather stations outside of the US.

FIXED: When Weather Watcher Live was minimized, clicking on the Weather Watcher Live tray icon too many times sometimes caused the main Weather Watcher Live window to be permanently hidden -- until the next time Weather Watcher Live was restarted.

FIXED: Links going back to WeatherBug.com were not always pointing to the page for the specific weather station that was being used in Weather Watcher Live.

FIXED: The map list in the "Wallpaper" tab of the Weather Watcher Live Options window was out-of-sync with the map URLs.

FIXED: When the slider on the "NOW" section of the main Weather Watcher Live window was set to "Hours", the hours were not always displaying above the condition images in the slider.

FIXED: When Weather Watcher Options window "General" tab --> "Use 24-hour time system" box was checked, the hours listed in the "HOURLY" section of the main Weather Watcher Live window were only displaying with two digits (e.g. "13" instead of "13:00").

FIXED: Depending on the Windows regional settings being used, the day names in the "HOURLY" and "DAILY" sections of the main Weather Watcher Live window were not always displaying the correct day name.

The changes are as follows:

ADDED: 200+ new weather maps.

ADDED: "General" --> "Store user files in the Weather Watcher program folder" option. If this option is not checked (it's unchecked by default), Weather Watcher will store all working files in the current user's Windows profile.

ADDED: "Map Manager" button in the "Maps" tab of the Weather Watcher Options window.

ADDED: Map Manager button to check/uncheck all listed maps.

CHANGED: When using the INI option (-i or -id command line parameters), WW will store the INI files in the Weather Watcher install folder (default = C:/Program Files/Weather Watcher).

CHANGED: Added quotes to the Weather Watcher program registry path -- used when Weather Watcher is set to start with Windows. This should prevent the Weather Watcher program folder from opening when Windows starts.

CHANGED: The animated wallpaper option is now disabled in the "Wallpaper" Weather Watcher Options window tab for Windows Vista users. Windows Vista does not include the Active Desktop feature, so animated map images cannot be displayed as wallpaper.

CHANGED: Remove 1-4 minute intervales from the "Forecast Auto Update Rate" dropdown in the "Auto Update" tab of the Weather Watcher Options window.

CHANGED: When using the double-click action in the "Tray Icon" tab of the Weather Watcher Options window, Weather Watcher will use the native Windows double-click speed to detect double-clicks.

FIXED: Updated Weather Watcher downloader (GetFile.exe) to URL encode proxy username and password. This will allow proxy usernames and passwords to contain non-alpha and non-numeric characters (e.g. p@ssword).

FIXED: Updated various window control colors -- some of the controls were hard to read when different Windows themes were used.

FIXED: On weather updates, data from outdated servers will no longer be downloaded. This will resolve the issue where the weather data flips backs to a previous time.

FIXED: "Print.." and "Print Preview..." menu links were not always enabled when the main Weather Watcher window was visible.

FIXED: Font list was not loading into the "Tray Icon" tab of the Weather Watcher Options window.
