Weather Watcher Live 6.0.0.51 (Beta)

A new version of Weather Watcher Live has been released: http://www.SingersCreations.com/Weather-Watcher-Live.asp

The changes are as follows:

CHANGED: If the selected weather station is down and/or not currently reporting data, Weather Watcher Live will automatically pull data from the closest available weather station. If this happens, the station name at the top of the forecasts in the main Weather Watcher Live window will display the next closest station name instead of the selected station name.

FIXED: Included JavaScript handling to prevent JavaScript errors from popping up in Google mashup when station search fails.

FIXED: The Weather Watcher Live tray icon was not always reverting from italic text to normal text after the next successful weather update.

FIXED: The correct sunrise/sunset times were not being pulled from the WeatherBug data feed for weather stations outside of the US. The WeatherBug data feed does not have correct data for some weather stations, so this change will not resolve all sunrise/sunset issues.

FIXED: Stations were not always switching properly from the "Change Active City" system tray menu.

After you open WWL onto your desktop, how do you close the window, without closing the entire program?

@bill gabbert, select "Minimize to System Tray" from the dropdown in the "General" tab of the Weather Watcher Live Options window. Then, click the down arrow to the right of the "OPTIONS" button at the top of the main Weather Watcher Live window.

@wlkell, more locations will be added over time. Those people who own Davis weather stations will soon be able to submit their weather data to Weather Watcher Live, so that should introduce hundreds of additional weather stations.

Thank you very much for this program. I find it VERY useful. However, I too will probably revert back to the previous non-beta version as the closest weather station to my location is at least 30 miles away. I will wait untilt hose stations are added back. But once again thank you for a wonderful program.
